Part of my “ !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ” series
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I gave the T/A its own Instagram because I need to hide this thing from my mother for a while... She would not approve of it, even if she used to own one. Once it is running though, I don’t care. But for now... If any of you are interested to watch the car take shape.

So I take it you bought it? If you posted saying you bought it, I missed it.

I haven’t handed over the money yet, but I am buying it yes.

I thought the ‘doing something stupid’ was drinking Coors Light.

Can I ask how much?
![]() 09/28/2018 at 18:30 |

I will share once money is handed over

Have a follow.
I made a similar account for a car I didn’t necessarily want associated with my real world identity.

Coors Light isn’t that bad. It is like beer flavored bubbly water. And it is super cheap. But you can’t not have Coors with a Trans Am you know?

Woo Hoo!! I love your crap Miata though, and the vintage plates are awsome

Me too... I just wanted to make it slightly harder for my coworkers to figure out who own s the rusty pile with irreverent stickers occasionally parked among all the late model BMWs and Audis that seem to be the norm for engineers at my company :)

Sweet :) more pics!

Rather you than me mate.
How cheap is cheap over there ? (I understand alcohol is expensive over there).
![]() 09/28/2018 at 18:43 |

Alcohol is expensive here? $11.99 for a 12 pack or 12 oz cans./ I think liquor is fairly reasonable priced here, but idk. It isn’t Mexico or anything.

They will be coming
![]() 09/28/2018 at 18:43 |

That is fair enough
![]() 09/28/2018 at 18:59 |

That doesn’t seem awfully bad.
Here it’s about CAN$3.3 5 per litre.
Though you can get cheap beer from CAN$0.84 per litre.

Are you giving me Canadian prices?
![]() 09/28/2018 at 19:09 |

Yes.

A unrestored anniversary edition? Nice. Let me know if you need anything, but you've owned a second gen before, yeah?
![]() 09/28/2018 at 19:16 |

No I have not owned one before. I am sure I will end up needing a lot XD

Ok, big takeaways: its a t top car, you should strongly consider subframe connectors. That means body bushings as well. That job sucks. Also, you are going to have to rip the dash apart to replace the vacuum lines for the hvac controls to work. I reccomend changing the heater core and the dash lightbulbs at the same time. Leds look great.

That sounds like far too much work XD. I half plan more on doing my planned drivetrain swap and just driving it as is for a while
![]() 09/29/2018 at 11:15 |
|
Why?
![]() 09/29/2018 at 11:26 |
|
Doh. For some reason while I was replying I thought you were a Canuck.
Makes the Coors Light a little more understandable though. Lol.
I#ll use GBP then, £2.00 per litre for regular beer and as low as £0.50 per litre for cheap beer.
![]() 09/29/2018 at 11:39 |

Nope, lol. ‘Merican. Those prices don’t seem to o bad
![]() 09/29/2018 at 11:50 |

I should of realised when you wrote ‘12oz cans’ rather than millilitres and the prices not seeming as bad as what Canadians usually say.

Aaand followed.
![]() 09/29/2018 at 12:54 |

Ah yeah, that makes much more sense now

I’d still recommend the subframe connectors, even with the work involved. These have terrible body rigidity and you can irreparably
dent the roof from body flex.

holy shit, that is crazy. Have a link to any you recommend?

I bought these ones. Bolt or weld in. Unfortunately you have to do the body bushings at the same time, and you have a good chance of spinning the cage nuts. The kit itself is nice, low profile and high quality.

Aawesome! Thank you for the link, now good bye money
